My Journey To Great Skin




                   In everybody's life there will come a point when you have to deal with the acnes or blackheads or skin related issues. 2 years ago, I had a same problem. There was a time when I was scared to see myself in the mirror.
My mom took me to the dermatologist, I started using chemical products on my face according to the prescription of dermatologist. I am not saying that chemical products don’t work, it might work for some of us but in most of the case I have seen that it only works for you until you use it so basically you need to use it for whole life time. Just imagine using chemical products in your face every single day. Scary huh!
     So I thought I will start a journey, a journey to clear skin without any chemical products. I came up with it after some research. So here are some remedies you need to know and follow for a beautiful and healthy skin

1. Embrace your skin type

- The first step is to find out your skin type and learn to love the unique quirks of your face.  So the first thing is to accept the way you are other things are secondary. No one will embrace your flaws but you.

2. Nutritious diet

- The second and most important thing i learnt is to have a healthy and nutrious diet. Diet makes a lot of difference in your skin. I recommend you to not eat over spicy foods and foods containing sugar. Eat green leafy vegetables, fresh fruits and foods containing vitamin. Simply avoid sugar, dairy products and spices from your diet.

3. Choose the right products for your skin

- Many of us make mistakes in choosing the right product for our skin. We don’t try to study what our skin needs and blindly rely on ads. You need to choose the products according to your skin type.
If you have an oily skin and you are using something that is for dry skin then
You will never get the result you are wanting. So do a little research before you invest on skin care products.

4. Be an alert customer

- To avoid chemicals from your daily life is not easy no matter how much you try. But you can use it in a less proportion. So before buying any products you must see the percentage of chemical used in it. You have to be a very alert customer. I recommend you not to buy anything containing parabens, formaldehyde, petrolatum, triclosab, oxybenzone. Always have a look at it ingredients before you buy it.

5. Sun is dangerous

-  No doubt, sun is the source of energy for life on earth but you gotta protect your skin from it. In simple words sunscreen is must. No matter what are you doing in a day please don’t forget to put sunscreen. Sun passes harmful rays like UV rays that cause skin aging and wrinkling and contribute to skin cancer such as melanoma. So if you want a great and healthy skin you need to protect your skin from sun.

6. Drink and sleep

- Being hydrated and well rested will never disappoint you. Drink enough water and take at least 8 hours of sound sleep. It only won’t make your skin healthy but your entire body will feel amazing.

One more thing, let’s not have a healthy skin from outside only but from inside too. Nothing will make you look radiant than being happy and cheerful. Be satisfied with what you have and work for what you need. Self satisfaction adds glow in your skin
